2022 Cook Islands $20 Titanic

3 Oz. Silver Ultra High Relief Proof

Box and COA

 I am pleased to present the 3 Oz Silver Cook Islands Titanic in Ultra High-Relief proof strike.  Coin is over the top spectacular!  Just 500 were struck by the Mayer Mint in Germany using the Smartminting technology to create such a superb specimen.  Some of the devices on the coin actually rise up off the flat surface and create the Ultra High Relief effect.  You will notice a small black “pebble” struck into the obverse of the coin.  That’s actually a piece of coal that was retrieved from the RMS White Star Line Titanic wreck at the bottom of the ocean.  Talk about detail to design!  Mintage is just 500 coins.  And that’s for worldwide distribution!  A Mint box and COA is included with this 3 Oz hulk.
        

Coin is struck by the Mayer Mint in Germany

 for the South Pacific island nation of the Cook Islands.  It is very common for a small country without a Mint of their own, to allow their legal tender to be struck at various world Mints including The Perth Mint, Pobjoy Mint, The Royal Mint, and with the Hollywood movie franchises, the New Zealand Mint.  The Mayer Mint Titanic program features actual legal tender $20 denomination coinage.  So, in case you're ever in the Cook Islands and all you have with you in terms of money, this Titanic coin will take care of you!
